To ensure we provide a safe environment for both our employees and our clients all employees of Waterman Window Cleaners are required to follow guidelines provide by OSHA and the ANSI/IWCA I-14 window cleaning safety standard manual. We require all employees undergo regular training and attend safety meetings. Along with constant training on current and updated window cleaning equipment. All equipment is inspected and serviced prior to beginning any job.
Waterman Window Cleaners goal is to always provide an exceptional level of professional expertise in the area of safety, and fall protection systems. Our Supervisors are trained to inspect your buildings surface and fixture to avoid hazards in the workplace. They are also required to fill out a fall protection checklist at any job requiring rope work.
Rope Access applies practical ropework to allow workers to access difficult-to-reach locations without the use of scaffolding, cradles or an aerial work platform. Rope access technicians descend, ascend, and traverse ropes for access and work while suspended by a harness and work seat. The support of the rope eliminates the likelihood of a fall. Rope access workers use a back-up fall arrest system as an additional means of support. This system is usually achieved by using two ropes – a working line and a safety line.
There are times when a building will requires additional equipment to get the job done. Aerial lifts are often used for those hard to reach windows. OSHA states only trained and authorized persons are allowed to operate an aerial lift. At Waterman safety is always first and we will guarantee a Sun Belt trained technician will take care of your buildings needs in a safe and timely fashion.
